| the grinding problem I was having with the transmission (it got worse over the time that I had the needle bearing). I had seen posts from other members about the needle bearings not being ideal for street applications because dust, dirt, and grime will collect in the needle bearing and cause it to seize. And this is where I thought it could be contributing to the grind problem I've been having. The end result: replacing it with a new bronze bushing only gave a slight improvement to the grinding issue. Clearly, it's time to replace the tranny if I want to completely rid myself of the grinding. Dave
